Herstat GST:

Herstat GST contains Purified Bee Propolis, Thyme Leaf Oil, Eucalyptus Leaf Oil, Almond Oil, Castor Seed Oil, Camphor and Menthol. These ingredients may cause skin irritation to sensitive areas. Test on a small area of skin, prior to use.

Active Ingredients

The pain relief in Herstat GST is primarily provided by the Active Ingredient Camphor, which is included at 3%. Natural Camphor is derived from the leaves and bark of Cinnamomum Camphora tree but it can also be biosynthetically synthesised. Camphor is a highly effective topical pain reliever and is perfect for providing temporary relief of pain and discomfort.

Herstat GST also contains the Active Ingredient Menthol. Menthol contains a range of phenolic compounds such as α-pinene, citronellol, and methyl eugenol. Menthol is included in a wide variety of pharmaceutical preparations and is included in GST for its moderate analgesic properties. It also acts as a natural preservative of the ointment and thus we do not need to use synthetic preservatives within our ointment.

3% Purified Propolis Extract

All Herstat products contain 3% Purified Propolis Extract. Our propolis is all sustainably sourced from the Manitoba region of Canada. We trace all our propolis to source and only obtain our crude propolis from a group of trusted Manitoban beekeepers, who collect excess propolis for us during the honey extraction period. Propolis comprises a range of phytonutrients and in particular an important group of polyphenols, including phenolic acids and flavonoids. These bioflavonoids help preserve the ointment and thus we do not need to include any synthetic preservatives in our preparations. The propolis in Herstat GST also lends the ointment its characteristic and very pleasing aroma.

- Do not use in or around the eyes
- Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Almond Oil, Propolis, Eucalytus and Thyme Leaf Oil may cause skin irritation
- Do not use if allergic to bee byproducts
- If you think you have Genital Herpes (HSV-2) you should consult your doctor or health professional
- Herstat GST is not a cure for herpes and will not prevent future outbreaks
- This product will not stop the spread of the herpes virus or other viruses. Viral infections are contagious
- Herstat GST does not prevent sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
- Practice safer sex by using a latex or polurethane condom to reduce the risk of getting STIs
- HerstatGST may damage condoms and diaphragms and cause them to fail

Stop use and ask a doctor if: Condition worsens or if symptoms last more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days
